What is the mission of The Founders Girls Lacrosse League (FGLL)?

FGLL’s mssion is To help elementary- and middle-school-aged girls in our member towns learn to play and enjoy the sport of girls lacrosse

What ages play in FGLL?

FGLL offers instructional league play in four grade-based groupings: 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 grades.


Are players required to have a mouth guard? 

FGLL is following US Lacrosse’s guidelines regarding mouth guards. All players must have mouth guards. No protrusions, such as tabs, are permitted.

What is the Jamboree?

FGLL offers an end-of season Jamboree to all teams. This is an opportunity for teams to play towns that they might not meet during the regular season. The 2016 Jamboree will be at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School on Sunday, June 12.

How is FGLL Organized?

FGLL is comprised of 23 town programs. The Board is responsible for managing the league. We count on volunteers to help run FGLL. 


Do players have to obtain US Lacrosse membership?

Yes, all players and coaches must be US Lacrosse members, primarily for insurance purposes. Having all participants subscribe to this lacrosse-specific insurance also limits liability for FGLL Town Programs and Coaches.
