1/2 & 3/4 Grades – Field is 60 x 40 yards. Mark the corners of the field with tall cones, the 8-meter arc with flat cones and portable goal circles (either Bownet brand or similar). The midfield line serves as the restraining line.
1/2 Grade - Shooting targets are used rather than goalies. When a shot is blocked by the shot blocker and ends up in the crease, a defender may enter the crease and pick up the ball with their stick and continue play.
5/6 and 7/8 Grade – Regulation, full-size field with conventional markings: goal circle, 8-meter arc, 12-meter fan, sideline and end line boundaries, restraining lines.
Place cones on player sideline 5 yards on either side of midfield to designate the substitution area. All players must leave and enter the field between these cones.
Spectators must sit on the sideline opposite the player’s benches.
the league has a 2-hour cancelation policy before a game. The opposing team and the referee must be notified at least 2 hours before game time that a field is unplayable or a team is unable to field a team. If the teams and the official are at the field and then it is determined that the field is unplayable, the official is paid the normal fee. All parties need to understand the unpredictable nature of weather, and sometimes last minute cancelations happen.
